Olivia Ciobotaru

As General Manager USA of Summit International Relations, Olivia
Ciobotaru runs the day to day operations of the company. Having
grown up and worked in Romania before coming to America for graduate
school, Ms. Ciobotaru plays an essential role in identifying business
opportunities for US companies in Eastern Europe and structuring
deals for clients in the region.
Ms. Ciobotaru comes to Summit International Relations with extensive
experience in business and international relations as well as project
management expertise in the nonprofit sector. For the past eight
years, Ms. Ciobotaru held senior positions with companies and organizations
specializing in the agricultural and environmental sectors.
Before coming to Summit International Relations, Ms. Ciobotaru was
the International Programs Director with a Unite States based environmental
organization. Within this role, she took programs and campaigns
from concept to completion. Ms. Ciobotaru successfully promoted
public and environmental education via a worldwide network of 6,000
environmental and civil society groups in 174 countries.
Ms. Ciobotaru has directed public relations through out the world.
Among other achievements, she organized the largest environmental
event in Ukraine on municipal waste management attended by 150,000
people and brought American media campaign tactics to issues campaigns
in Asia and Africa.
In the rapidly developing agribusiness arena of Eastern Europe,
Ms. Ciobotaru also found success propelling a family business into
one of the leading companies producing alfalfa, potato, and mustard
seeds in the region.
Ms. Ciobotaru ‘s educational background is in international
business and finance. She holds a Master of Business Administration
from James Madison University in Virginia (USA) and a bachelor degree
in international business and finance from Romanian-American University
in Bucharest. She is fluent in Romanian, English, Spanish, and French
and has knowledge of German and Italian.
